Atlantic Antic Wrap Up

Atlantic Antic has come and gone and Fall is officially upon us! For those that didn't get a chance to make to to the Antic, shame on you! You missed a ton of fun and a beautiful Sunday. We also made some great new friends including one Miss Kitty Bradshaw from KittyBradshaw.com. She was kind enough to take some great photos of our booth and give us a cute little write up. You can check it out here.

Thank you so much to everyone that came out and a special thanks to Kitty, even if she is a Raiders fan! (Go Chargers!)

Write up from Nest Maker

A big "Thank You!" to our friends over at nestmaker.com. They came by the shop and took the beautiful photos shown below. They also had some great things to say about us:

there’s another garden shop I just visited for the first time, Dig. F-A-N-C-Y.

Beautiful still life compositions in Dig, I wanted to take everything home just as it was arranged.

I love how compact the stores’ displays get in places where real estate is at a premium. Shops have an intimate feel about them with such narrow corridors.
Well Nest Maker, we think you're pretty F-A-N-C-Y too! Thanks for the shout out, and to all our loyal customers, make sure you check out this great site about "things and places for homes and gardens." The full article is here.

Pre Made and Custom Terrariums

Come check out Dig's amazing selection of terrariums. We do it all. Unique glass from all over the world, Wardian Cases, recycled vessels; you name it, we'll make a terrarium out of it! Pricing varies depending on the container and plant selection. We love desert biomes, fern grottos, carnivorous ecosystems and beautiful orchid displays, but if you can dream it, we can make it a reality. As a special teaser, we just got back from the NY International Gift Fair and found some amazing new pieces that should be here in a few short weeks! Come see whats growing at Dig!

Greenest Block in Brooklyn!

Wow! Check out all the awesome gardens in the Brooklyn area. The competition was tough this year, but we are very happy with our Honorable Mention in the commercial category, especially since our neighbors on Atlantic Ave. between Bond and Nevis took the crown from us (pic below)! Don't worry guys, we'll be kicking it up a notch next year, so you'd better have your game face ready!

Here is a great link, courtesy of the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, to all of this years winners!

Another entry from Brownstoner!

Wow! People on Brownstoner love us, and we love them! Check out the great photos of our guys hard at work:
This has got to be the best quote we've ever had:

"I was suspect of Chuck and his crew as they were the first group of contractors I've ever hired who listened to NPR while they were working! Both the deck and the yard turned out fine . . . I'd heartily recommend both of them."

Thanks so much DIBS, we know it's funny that we listen to NPR, but it not only keeps us happy while we work, it also keeps us informed about the world at large!
