We're certifiably enchanting!

It's been said before, but now it's official. Why, you ask? Because we won "Most Enchanting" window from the Atlantic Ave. 2009 Green Window Competition! Yeah us! A big "Thank You!" to everyone that supported us and came to see the Christmas tree lighting. And let's take a moment to thank everyone at the Atlantic Ave. LDC for working so hard all year to support all of the unique and wonderful merchants on Brooklyn's historic Atlantic Ave.

If you haven't already make sure you take the time to come see the store this holiday season. Call it boyhood reminiscence, spiritual salvation, or jolly holiday exuberance, but Chuck and I really love this time of year, and the shop shows it! Dig at Christmas is as close as one can get to being a member of the Griswold's holiday tradition.

The sweet, sweet smell of paper whites

Come by the shop and smell all the wonderful paper whites that have started blooming. We have bulbs in planters, bulbs in glass containers and loose bulbs. Loose bulbs start at $1.50 for less than 10. Nothing says, "Spring is just around the corner!" like the intoxicating scent of paper whites.

Atlantic Antic Wrap Up

Atlantic Antic has come and gone and Fall is officially upon us! For those that didn't get a chance to make to to the Antic, shame on you! You missed a ton of fun and a beautiful Sunday. We also made some great new friends including one Miss Kitty Bradshaw from KittyBradshaw.com. She was kind enough to take some great photos of our booth and give us a cute little write up. By Bus: Take the 37, 103, 63, 67, 41, or 45 bus and get off at the corner of 3rd and Atlantic or Nevins and Atlantic

By Subway: Take the A, C, or G to Hoyte-Schemerhorn station and walk South to Atlantic Ave. At Atlantic, walk East.
Take the 2, 3, 4, or 5 to Nevins St. and walk South on Nevins to Atlantic Ave. At Atlantic Ave. walk East.
Take the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, or Q to Atlantic Ave. Station, or the D, M, N, or R to the Pacific St. Station and then walk West on Atlantic Ave.

Greenest Block in Brooklyn!

Wow! Check out all the awesome gardens in the Brooklyn area. The competition was tough this year, but we are very happy with our Honorable Mention in the commercial category, especially since our neighbors on Atlantic Ave. between Bond and Nevis took the crown from us (pic below)! Don't worry guys, we'll be kicking it up a notch next year, so you'd better have your game face ready!

Each one hand made and expertly crafted, Dig Wreaths come in two sizes, 13 inches and 20 inches. These beauties can be custom ordered in any color palate of your choice.


As the holidays roll around they will retail for $175 and $250 respectively, but we are now offering a special pre-order discount of $25 off per wreath. This offer will only be good through September 30th. Wreaths will be available for pick up on or before Thanksgiving day, just in time to get the decorations dusted off and start putting up lights!
